Olofsson ställde som sann konkretist gärna sin konst i industrins tjänst.
Temat Flick Flack finns som väggutsmyckning i Grängesberg, 1960, och tillverkades som tygtryck för NK:s textilkammare. Cirkelns och ellipsens dynamiska möjligheter var viktiga. Olofsson ville gärna se hur rytmen rörde sig som en liten ekorre i bilden. Bakom hans lätta handlag låg dels en klassisk geometrisk grund dels inspiration av stadens dynamik, med en särskild förtjusning i Slussens evigt cirkulerande trafikmaskin.
