Lennart Rodhe har många gånger berättat om när han kom loss som målare, påhejad av läraren Sven Erixson. Våren 1944 målade han en serie studier av en skådespelerska. Detta är en av dem. Verket skänktes till Thomas Millroth i samband med att "Rum
utan filial?" utkom 1977.
