Ceres sökande sin dotter Proserpina i underjorden. Ceres som fackelhållare. Gråmålad gips. Sockel av grå- och blåmålat trä. Höjd 98, inkl. sockel 200 cm.

Facklorna saknas, ställvis skador, spår efter elledning över armar.

Göthe, Georg, Johan Tobias Sergels skulpturverk, Stockholm 1921, jämför exemplar i Nationalmuseum, avbildad som nr 53 ”Ceres sökande Proserpina. Dekorativ grupp i gips. De förgyllda fackelhållarna äro av trä med tre låga ljusstakar upptill. Har användts som kandelaber. Utförd senast 1785”.
