A massive cloisonné enamel baluster vase, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).
Decorated with a lakeside retreat, sailing ships at anchor in the lake, above this a wide band of lotus pond, the bulb shaped top decorated with the bajixiang reserved on a yellow ground. Gilt metal handles. Height 82 cm.
