Double circle in underglaze blue around the mark. Diameter 12,8 cm.

The lusterous white glaze is known as tian bai, 'sweet' -white, which was the monocrome favoured by the Yongle emperor for ritual use in Buddhist temples, and continued to be made in the Xuande period.
