A famille rose armorial cup and stand with the crowned monogram of the Swedish King Gustavus III and the date 19th of August 1772.

The reverse marked 1776. Height of cup 6,5 cm, diameter of stand 14 cm.

Rimcrack, chip, wear.

Provenance

Gustavus the III commissioned a tea and coffee service from China in 1776 to commemorate the revolution of 1772. The pieces were given to his supporters.
