Document on verso from Blanco Studio, Bali, Indonesia, with among others a dedication: "To Rachel Sofia Ask of Sweden goes this painting (which is really a composition) of various people of Bali. People are seen shielding their eyes from the heat of the tropical sun of Bali with little round covers made of Ental palm leaves, which the Balinese use to cover religious offerings. A part of Bali and myself.. leaves my Art collection... for Miss Ask! Good luck with People of Bali."
