A famille rose armorial punch bowl, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).

Diameter 26,5 cm.

Crack.

Provenance

The arms are of the Worshipful Company of Bakers, granted by Robert Cooke, Clarenceux in 1590. The Company is 'Praise God for all' although the motto on the bowl here say's 'De misterio pistorium siggilum'.
