More information

Frédèric Boucheron began the house of Boucheron in 1858 as a small shop in the Palais Royal. As the business thrived and the fim rapidly gained recognition, the premises were moved in 1893 to Place Vendôme. Boucheron was actually the first jeweller to move to this prominent Parisian square which has since become a center for haute joaillerie. Frédèric Boucherons son, Louis, took control of the business after his father's death in 1902 and opened branches in London and New York, to join the shop in Moscow shop, opened by the father.

During its successfull 150 years of business the firm has gained a reputation for its high quality of gemstones and originality of design, flourishing from the early 1900 to the present day. Today the firm, still run by the Boucheron family, continues to produce jewellery at the same high quality as its founder did.
