Sigrid Sandström, fokuserar främst på landskapsmotiv i sina verk. Motiven byggs upp lager för lager, som teoretisk, målerisk collage, med hög grad av komplexitet som ger konkret form till imaginära platser. Sandström ser sig själv främst som målare men hon har även gjort verk inom film, skulpturer och installationer. Sigrid Sandström var nominerad till Carnegie Art Award 2010.
