Provenance

The dinner service was bought by Lovisa Ulrica from her brother Frederick the Great when she and Sophia Albertina visited Berlin in 1772.

Peter Gustaf af Ugglas then bougth the service from Sophia Albertina at the Auction for the inheritery princes foundation. Then to his daughter Ulrica Sopia Charlotte, who married Carl Ludwig Magnus Björnstjerna, thence by descent to the present owner.
