A pair of Rare Swedish Terrestial and Celestial Globes by Anders Åkerman 1762.

The globes diam ca 11 cm, height including stands 20 cm.

One stand with one later leg. Damages, repairs, wear, hour circles missing.

A RARE PAIR OF GLOBS

According to the literature (E. Bratt) only two other pair of globs by Anders Akerman from 1762 with 11 cm in diameter are known. These belong to the Royal Academy of Sciences. One Celestial globe in the same size is known in a private collection.
