Anna Casparssons textila kompositioner förekommer sällan på auktioner. Född 1861 debuterade hon först 1945 och kom då att uppskattas mycket för sin originalitet. 1960 visade Moderna museet hennes alster. Casparsson experimenterade med olika material i sina broderier och applikationer exempelvis silverspetsar, knappar, pärlor.
