A wucai and underglaze blue bowl, Ming dynasty, Wanlis six character mark and of the period (1573-1620).

Deep rounded sides, short straight rim, painted in cobalt blue and enamelled in green, yellow and iron red, the outside depicting chrystanthemums issuing from rockwork. The interior with a dragon and a phoenix. Diameter 17,7 cm.

Rimcrack, chip, wear.
