More information

Milarepa is believed to have reached full buddhahood in his very lifetime, condensing into a single meditative life many lifetimes of evolutionary development by entering the subtle dimension of the dreamlike virtual reality of the Tantric perfection stage yogas. He is called Repa ("cotton-clad"), because his mastery of the dummo fury fire yoga was so powerful that he was able to live more or less naked in the high Himalayan winters.
