Utförd i Sevilla under Lundgrens vistelse i Spanien 1849-53.

Lundgren utförde ett flertal variationer på detta tema, flera vilka utkom som litografier (K. Asplund, Egron Lundgren, Vol, I, 1914, ss. 143-4, fig. 35). Tre stycken finns i Nationalmuseums samlingar, och en tidigare i greve Henning Wachtmeisters ägo på Vanås, vilken kan vara identisk med det aktuella verket.
