Enligt familjetradition skall dessa kandelabrar inköpts från Jonas Love Almqvists hem, när Almqvist lämnat sin familj för att resa till Amerika. De köptes då av musikern och operasångaren Isidor Dannström, därefter har de gått i arv till nuvarande ägare.
