ANTIQUE/SEMI-ANTIQUE MAHAL, so called Ziegler Mahal. 472,5 x 371 cm.

Terracotta melange ground with a large, dense polychrome flower and palmette pattern. A wide ivory main border with a large palmette and flower vine.

The light brown coloured wool is slightly corroded. Some partly hard wear, stains, repairs. The sides have minor fold wear, one end has a few rows of knots missing.
