A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Bodhisattva, presumably 17/18th Century.

Seated on a double lotus throne in bhumisparsa mudra. Elaborately clad in robes, large earings. Height 21,5 cm.

Front part of crwon broken off. Later base placque.

Purchased by a Swedish Collector at Auction Me Hervé Chayette, Art D'Estrême Orient, Jeudi, 29 mars 1984. Lot no 74. Depticted in catalogue.
