20 pages illustrated with chromolithographs after Ryadushkin, Samokish-Sudkovskaya and others. White boards with the Imperial Double Headed Eagle on cover, the inside of covers with gilt printed blue sheets and an ornate cartouche with the cipher of Nicholas and Alexandra. The gala opened with Glinka's Life of the Tsar and continued with Marius Petipa's ballet The Pearl. 32.5 x 24 cm.
