Sedan i våras finns hela Olsons konstnärliga kvarlåtenskap i samlingarna hos Hallands Konstmuseum. Förutom den stora negativsamlingen förvärvade Hallands Konstmuseum arkiv och brevväxlingar, en betydande samling fotokopior och tryck samt dokumentärfilmer och kamerautrustning. Lennart Olson levde och arbetade i Steninge utanför Halmstad.
