A Sancai-glazed pottery jar, Tang Dynasty (618-907).

Tall ovoid form, covered in a splashed glaze of amber, green and cream that falls in a pattern down the sides, to end in an irregular line on the mid body above the flat base, exposing the pale buff body. Height 30,5 cm.

Wear, loss of glaze.
