The Kutchinsky business was established in the 1890s when Joseph Kutchinsky’s grandfather fled Poland, bringing his family to England, where he set up a jewellery manufacturing company in the East End of London. They brought with them centuries of experience in the jewellery trade where they had been jewelers to the court of Ludwig of Bavaria.
