More information

The Immortelle Pattern, molded with the ‘Gebrochener Stab’ (broken rod) pattern and decorated in underglaze blue with ‘Strawflowers’ (Strohblumenmuster), was developed about 1740 by the Meissen factory. It has been copied by many other porcelain manufacturers, but the Royal Danish factory in Copenhagen, Denmark, made it famous.
