Two volumes, contemporary full calf, spines richly gilt in seven compartments. Monogram of King Charles XII on border.
First edition. In 1748 translated into French as Histoire de Charles XII, Roi de Suède. 1-4, and in 1745-51 translated into German as Leben Carl des Zwlöften, Königs in Schweden. 1-3.
The author Jöran Andersson Nordberg (1677-1744) was chaplain to the king.

Wear, autographs in ink.
