Buddha Shakyamuni is seated cross-legged in dhyanasana posture on a lotus base, with his right hand in the earth-witness gesture (bhumisparsa mudra), and the left hand in contemplation, the most widespread and popular iconographic form of Buddha Shakyamuni. The facial features finely painted, the lips upturned and the eyes with a sincere expression emphasizing the aura of severeness and serenity radiating from the figure. Height 30,5 cm.
