SEMI-ANTIQUE/OLD ESFAHAN PART SILK. 364 x 252 cm.

A burgundy ground with a polychrome medallion, corner ornaments, palmette, arabesque and flower festoons as well as birds. A dark blue main border with birds, a palmette, flower and arabesque vine. The outer secondary border has an inscription Isfahan Mohammad Davari. The warp is in silk as well as some of the knotted patterns.

Insignificantly dirty, minor stains.
