Jesper Swedberg, born August 28th 1653 at Svedens farm near Falun and died July 26th 1735 in Brunsbo at Skara, was a Swedish professor. He was Principal of the University of Uppsala, psalmist and a Bishop. He was the father of Emanuel Swedenborg. Jesper Swedberg belonged to the dynasty Stjärna.
