Provenance

The artist Einar Jolin (1890-1976), and with his own annotation on the backboard: 'Tibetan tempera-painting, acquired from Astberg 1941 by Einar Jolin. This wonderful Tibetan painting, is perhaps my most beloved one among my Asian artworks. What imagination and what technical perfection.'
