Landscape with ruins. 24 x 17 cm and 25 x 20 cm. Gustavian gilded frames with crests.

Unexamined out of frame. Colours faded. Surface dirt. Insignificant stains.

Earlier in Mr Carl Ulrik Palms (1864-1954) collection.

Probably painted after two oilpaintings by Hubert Robert (1733-1808) (the one with a temple) and Claude Joseph Vernet (1714-1789) (the one with a river landscape).
