Finely painted and gilded decoration with a flower basket sitting on a table. The frame with flowers and insects. Measurement 28x37 cm.

Bukowskis Auction A254, 1926, lot no 204.

From the collection of Carl Ulrik Palm (1864-1954). Thence by descent.

Carl Ulrik Palm was Swedish art collector, numismatic and the director of Bukowskis Action house after the death of its founder Henryk Bukowskis, in 1900. Prior to taking over the auction house he had been working for Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. Palm was an active art collector and writer. He made several donations to Nordiska Museet.
