One uncut roll of silk yardage. The first with a light yellow ground and a dense light blue decor of dragon medallions among clouds as well as the manufacturers inscription: Hongxinghe zhenzheng toulei (Real top weaving of Hongxinghe). The latter with a pale blue ground with a polychrome decor of flowers.
Insignificant wear.

Bought in Shanghai before the wedding 1st of September in 1949 between the highest director of the Textile Machinery within V Sasoons Trading Company John Wilson and Margit Bond who worked for the Swedish Diplomatic mission.
