Richly painted, gilded, worked and decorated, one - with the portrait of Grand Duke Nicholas Pavlovich, (later from 1825 Tsar Nicholas I (1796-1855), (великий князь Николай Павлович,позднее царь, Николай I).
The other cup is decorated with the portrait of a lady, possibly and his spouse Alexandra Feodorovna (Алекса́ндра Фёдоровна (1798-1860). Height 10,5 cm.

The cup depicting Alexandra F, has a restored chip. Wear to gilding.
