NAPKINS, 24 pieces (as well as 12 unmangled pieces with the same pattern). Linen damask. Wadstena Fabrik, Sweden,

beginning of the 19th century. Ca 89,5 x 78,5 cm each. A stripe patterned field with flower vines. A wide border with large flowers and secondary borders. Woven Wadstena Fabrik. N. 2 (9?). Embroidered monogram PHP and marked 36. The catalogue comes with this lot.

Two thirds of the mangled have either minor stains, insignificant damages or have some slightly yellowing areas. Among the unmangled all have either minor stains or have yellowing areas.

Provenance

PHP Petter Helin Persson. Then inherited by Anna Palm, then inherited by her brother Carl Ulrik Palm (1864-1954). Then, in succession.
