A RUG. An antique Kashan part silk, a so called Motachem. 200 x 95,5-108 cm.
A camel hair coloured ground with a large polychrome medallion, birds, stylized flowers and corner ornaments. A narrow dark blue melange main border with a boteh pattern and flower bouquets.
Partly hard wear, dirty, stains, colour run areas, repairs, minor holes. Later ends.
