Here, we present high-class artworks, sculpture and graphic art from the breakthrough of modernism in the early twentieth century, right up to the 1960s. The Modern Sale includes two unique collections: The Estate of a Private Collector and Folke & Sigrid Isacson’s collection.
During the autumn, Bukowskis’ premises at Berzelii Park in Stockholm are being renovated. In the meantime, our viewings will be held at specially selected locations in Stockholm. The Modern Sale will therefore be available for viewing at Mindepartementet on Skeppsholmen, with the auction itself being held in Spegelsalen at Berns.

You can bid with a paddle in the auction room, by phone, by absentee bidding, or by live online. Choose the option you find the most convenient.

When you bid by telephone, you are in contact by phone with one of our specialists who makes the bids on your behalf in the auction room. To be contacted by telephone, you need to submit your application for phone bidding by 8 PM on the day before the auction.

If you cannot attend the auction in person, we can bid on your behalf. Our customer service personnel handle the bidding confidentially and strive to obtain the lot for you at the lowest possible price.

PAYMENT: 18 – 28 OCTOBER 2016
Payment must be made within 8 days of the auction. Private customers with addresses in Sweden or Finland pay via Klarna. Go to the payments section at My Bukowskis and select invoice, and you will be sent to Klarna’s payment service. This only applies for payments from private customers up to a limit of SEK 100,000 per person. Read more at www.klarna.com
Where necessary, payment can also be made by bank or credit card at Bukowskis Nybrogatan 6, open Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We accept VISA and Master Card, but no cash payments may be made.
COLLECTION: FROM 19 OCTOBER
Items must be collected within 8 days of the auction. However, no items can be collected until full payment has been received by Bukowskis. All items (with the exception of watches and jewellery) can be collected from the day after the date of the auction from ArtMove, Frihamnsgatan 58, Magasin 6, entré 3, Stockholm. Open Mon-Wed and Fri 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jewellery and watches can be collected from Bukowskis, Västberga allé 3 and recalled items can also be collected here.
If the item has not been collected by the time limit, ArtMove has the right to charge a storage fee of SEK 50/€5 per item, per day. This charge is doubled for furniture and other large items.
Items cannot be paid for at Art Move.
