Small head of man with broken nose. Signed A Rodin. Foundry mark Alexis Rudier Fondeur, Paris. Bronze, brown patina. Height 12.5 cm (including base 20.5 cm).
Conceived before 1889.
Scratchmarks. Chips along the edges. Some wear to the patina.
Provenance
Falk Simons (1874-1957) collection.
Thereafter inherited in the family to the grandson, operasinger Torbjörn Munthe Sandberg.
