"Det är inte en slump att Sivert Lindblom benämner det mesta i sin produktion Utan titel. Det finns en vägran i honom att närma sig en betydelse, en tidigare existerad värld hans verk skulle kunna hänföras till. Denna vägran ser vi också genomgående hos minimalismen och delar av den abstrakta expressionismen. Men hos honom är inte denna vägran till betydelse entydigt kopplad med en reduktion av former, med en enkelhet."
