A pair of Imperial yellow bowls, Qing dynasty, Yongzheng six-character mark and of the period (1723-1735)

Yellow glazed with reign mark in underglaze blue within a double ring, 7,8 cm diameter.

One bowl with a haircrack circa 2,5 cm running down from the rim, and one small chip circa 3 mm.

Provenance

From the Collection of Ebbe Berner. Ebbe Berner was born at the great estate of Holstenshuus, Fyn, Denmark. As an architect he came to travel to China several times during the period 1915-1935 to study and gain inspiration from Asian arts and styles. Thence by descent.
