The covers decorated in gold, silver and red hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, bone and mother-of-pearl inlays with a samurai and a fierce looking dragon on a black ground opening to reveal a collection of hand-tinted photographs of famous views including Nikko Temple, the Great Buddha of Kamakura, views from the cities of Yokohama, Tokyo, Kamakura, Kobe, Kioto, Nagasaki, Yokohama and scenes of everyday life. Measurement album 37x27x7,5 cm.
