A CARPET, a semi-antique Esfahan park silk, ca 309 x 206,5 cm.
A red ground with a polychrome medallion, birds, flower, palmette and pomegranate festoons as well as corner ornaments with mythological animals. A green melange main border with a large palmette, arabesque and flower vine. One end has an inscription. Some areas knotted in silk.
Little wear, slightly dirty, minor stains, holes and damages, a few small "cherook" areas. Insignificant mothdamages at the back, the sides have minor fold wear, the ends have minor damages. The green main border have som abrasches.
