Henri Jacob (1753-1824) was cousin of the famous chairmaker Georges Jacob. Henri worked in Georges Jacob's style and made furniture of mahogany. Henri delivered chairs of mahogany to the French queen Marie-Antoinette. Henri Jacob's furniture is featured at several museums including Fontainebleau, Le musée des arts décoratifs de Paris, Musée Carnavalet, Louvre and Nissim-de-Camondo.
