A Gustavian late 18th century console table.

Carved gilt and bronzed wood. Top of green Swedish marble marked underneath with red crayon "Grev muhl No 4" (Carl Adolph Grevesmühl, Furniture dealer in Stockholm 1767-1801). Length 88, width 49.5, height 81.5 cm.

Garlands with repairs. Some gilt gesso losses.

A very similar console table was sold at Bukowskis 2011, with marked marble top "Grev Muhl No 1".
It is interesting to see how in the 1700s an existing rococo marble top was reused and let the Gustavian console table have curved shape in Transition style.
