Two bronze mirrors with mythical animals, Tang dynasty (618–907).

The pierced central knop surrounded by fruits and mythical beasts, the raised border, the silvered surface with areas of green encrustation. Diameter 11,1-11,2 cm.

Tarnished.

Provenance

From the Collection of antique dealer Sten Röing (1880-1965), the collection was added to by his son Max Röing (1916-1984) during the 1950-60's, thence by descent.
