An enamel on copper winecup and stand, Qing dynasty, 18th Century.

Decorated with antiques and precious things. Height of cup 3,5 cm, lenght of cup 4,7 cm. Measurement of dish 10x10 cm.

Chips, cracks.

Provenance

From the Collection of Carl Leijonhuvud (1885-1961), married to Anna Sofia Clara Helena Elisabeth Wrede af Eliminää (1896-1987) in 1919. Carl had a diplomatic career and came out to China in the early 1920’s as a member of the Swedish Diplomatic corps. Chargé d’affair in Peking from 1924. He returned to Europe in 1930 when he was posted in London. The pieces were acquired during the period he was posted out in Peking.
