A green enamelled dragon jar, China, circa 1900.
The ovoid body rising to a short tapered neck, the exterior decorated with green enamels, depicting two sinuous five-clawed dragons amongst flame wisps and cloud scrolls, in pursuit of a flaming pearl. The shoulder decorated with the Eight Buddhist Emblems/Treasures 'bajixiang'. Height 17,5 cm.
Insiginificant chip to footring, otherwise in good condition.
