A group of 26 porcelain tiles, late Qing dynasty.
Decorated in underglaze blue and white, the 18 rectangular ones with different motifs of auspicious animals, measurement 15x7,5 cm per tile. Six squared with various historical figures, measurement 14,7x15 cm per tile. Two with handles, decorated with objects.
Firingspots, frittings. One slab broken.
Provenance
Purchased from Hans Ostelius, who aquired them on a trip in China in the late 1940's.
