A CARPET, a semi-antique Esfahan, ca 227 x 152,5 cm (as well as the ends with ca 1½ and ½ cm flat weave).

An ivory ground with polychrome medallions, birds, mythological animals, flower and palmette festoons. A wide terracotta coloured main border sparsely patterned with cartouches and medallions with palmettes and flowers. About 810.000 knots per square meter. Silk warp.

Some abraches. Some wear, slightly dirty, stains.
