In 1960 Patek Philippe launched the automatic reference 3429, replacing the reference 3415. Most examples were cased in yellow gold, with a few examples in white gold. The reference was produced for nine years, ending in 1969. It was fitted with the caliber 27-460, which evolved from Patek Philippe’s first automatic caliber 12-600.
