Gary Hume (b. 1962) is considered being one of the great YBA artists. In 1995, Hume's work was included in the widley spoken exhibition "Brilliant" and in 1997 in the show "Sensation" at London's Royal Academy, a touring show of the Charles Saatchi art collection.
Hume is most known for his "door paintings" made in the early 90's. In 1999 he represented Great Britain at the Venice Biennale.
